Finding and applying for jobs
Who this is for: Aspirants looking for work in productions What you'll learn: How to find and apply for jobs, what eligibility requirements mean, how to track your application, and how to withdraw
Overview
Jobs on the platform are posted by recruiters for specific productions — film roles, technical positions, crew jobs, and more. You browse them in the Explore section, read the details, and apply with your profile and any supporting materials the recruiter has requested. You can track every application you have ever made from your Applied Jobs page.
How to find jobs
- From your Workspace, open the Explore section.
- Browse the listed jobs or use the search and filter tools to narrow by role type, location, language, or other criteria.
- Tap any job card to open the full listing.
What you see on a job listing
A job listing shows:
- Title and role type (acting, technical, crew, etc.)
- Description — what the production is and what the role involves
- Eligibility criteria — the age range, experience level, language requirements, and gender preference (if set by the recruiter)
- Compensation details — whether the role is paid, the rate and billing arrangement
- Application deadline — the last date to apply
- Reference materials — any documents or briefs the recruiter has attached for you to review before applying
Eligibility requirements
Eligibility criteria are set by the recruiter and describe what they are looking for. They are not hard blocks in most cases — they are guidance. For example:
- Age range — the age range the recruiter is targeting for the role
- Experience — the minimum or preferred years of experience
- Language — the languages the recruiter prefers applicants to know
- Gender preference — if the role is gender-specific
Even if your profile does not match every criterion, you can still apply if the apply button is available to you. The recruiter makes the final decision.
How to apply
- Open the job listing.
- Tap Apply.
- Select the materials you want to attach — these may include videos, photos, audio samples, or documents from your profile.
- Add any supplementary files if the recruiter has requested them (up to 5 additional attachments).
- Confirm and submit.
Your application is sent immediately. You will see it appear in your Applied Jobs section.
The "apply while private" add-on
By default, your profile needs to be publicly visible for you to apply to jobs. There is an optional add-on available in the platform store that lets you apply to jobs even when your profile is set to private. This is useful if you want to keep a low profile while still pursuing specific opportunities. You can find it under your account's boost options.
Tracking your application status
Open Applied Jobs from your Workspace to see all your applications. Each one shows:
- The job title and the production it belongs to
- Your current status in the pipeline
- The date you applied
The statuses you may see are:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Applied | Your application has been received |
| Under Review | A recruiter is actively looking at your application |
| Shortlisted | You have been shortlisted — the recruiter wants to take a closer look |
| Consolidated | Your application has been included in the team's final comparison round |
| Finalized | The recruiter has decided to move forward with you |
| Invited | You have been selected and invited to the next step (usually an event or audition) |
| Rejected | The recruiter has decided not to proceed with your application |
| Withdrawn | You withdrew your own application |
How to withdraw an application
If you change your mind after applying:
- Open Applied Jobs.
- Find the application you want to withdraw.
- Select Withdraw.
- Confirm.
Withdrawal is final. Once withdrawn, you cannot reactivate the same application.
Can I re-apply after rejection or withdrawal?
No. Once an application reaches a terminal state (Rejected or Withdrawn) it cannot be reopened. If a role you are interested in is reposted or reopened, a new application would need to be submitted.
Common questions
Can I edit my application after submitting? No. Once submitted, an application cannot be changed. Make sure your profile is up to date before applying, as the recruiter sees your profile as it stands at the time of review.
Can I apply to multiple jobs at the same time? Yes. There is no limit to the number of jobs you can apply to.
Will I be notified when my status changes? You may receive notifications at key stages. You can also check your Applied Jobs page at any time to see the latest status.
What happens to files I attached when I applied? Your attached files are stored with your application record and are visible to the recruiter and their review team for the duration of the application process.
Does a recruiter know if I withdraw before they see my application? Yes. Withdrawn applications are visible to the recruiter and marked as withdrawn.
What if a job I want to apply for says I am not eligible? If the apply button is unavailable, you may not meet a hard eligibility requirement the recruiter has set. Check whether your profile reflects your current age and experience. If your profile is not publicly visible and you do not have the apply-while-private add-on, that will also prevent applying.
