Overview
A recruiter can invite you to an event — an audition, a workshop, a casting call, a shoot day, or any other scheduled moment in their production. You receive the invitation through the platform and can accept or decline from your Workspace.
How you receive an invitation
When a recruiter sends you an event invitation, you receive a notification on the platform. You can also find all your invitations by opening Associations in your Workspace and selecting Events, or by looking in the notifications area.
What the invitation shows
When you open an invitation you can see:
- The name of the event and who is organising it
- The event category (Audition, Workshop, Shoot, etc.)
- The date, time, and location of the event
- Any description the organiser has added about what to expect
- The current status of your invitation (Sent, Viewed, Accepted, or Declined)
How to accept or decline
- Open the invitation from your notifications or your Events associations.
- Read the event details.
- Tap Accept to confirm you will attend, or Decline if you cannot or do not want to attend.
You can change your response later if your plans change, as long as the event has not yet taken place.
What happens after you accept
- Your response is recorded immediately and the organiser can see that you have accepted.
- The event appears in your associations and you can refer back to the details at any time.
- If the event has a gallery, team members may upload photos or clips after the event that you may be able to see.
What information is shared with the organiser
When you accept an invitation, the organiser can see:
- Your profile name and profile details (the same information visible on your public profile)
- The status of your invitation (Accepted)
- The date and time you viewed and responded to the invitation
The organiser does not see any private information beyond what is on your profile.
Where to see your upcoming events
Open your Workspace and go to Associations, then select Events. This shows all the events you have been invited to, along with your current response status for each one.
Common questions
Do I have to accept to attend? You do not technically have to accept — the organiser may admit you even if you have not responded. But accepting confirms your attendance and helps the organiser plan.
Can I re-accept after declining? Yes, as long as the event has not yet been closed or cancelled, you can change your response.
Will I be notified if the event details change? If the organiser updates the event date or location, check the event details again directly — you may not always receive a separate notification for every change.
What if I was invited because I applied for a job? Sometimes recruiters invite finalized applicants from a job directly to an event (for example, an audition). In that case, accepting the event invitation is typically the next step in your application journey. Your application status and your event invitation are separate — accepting the event does not change your application status.
Can I see other people who are attending? No. The guest list of an event is private. You cannot see who else has been invited or accepted.
